What is a "Lay Flat Pouch" and how is it different from a stand-up pouch?
A lay flat pouch (also known as a 3-side seal or pillow pouch) is a flat bag, typically sealed on three sides with one opening left for filling. Unlike a stand-up pouch, which has a bottom gusset that allows it to stand on its own, a lay flat pouch is highly space-efficient and ideal for hanging displays, lying flat, or being used as inner packaging.
Are your lay flat pouches suitable for vacuum sealing?
Yes. We can manufacture your pouches from materials specifically designed for vacuum sealing (like PA/PE). This structure provides excellent puncture resistance and high-barrier properties, making it perfect for packing meats, cheeses, seafood, and other foods requiring an extended shelf life.
