1. Standard vs. Holographic
Standard Metallic: Choose this for a premium, trustworthy look. It creates deep, rich “jewel tones” when printed over, ideal for supplements and coffee.
Holographic: Choose this for a disruptive, trendy vibe. The rainbow-shifting effect grabs instant attention, perfect for candy and limited-edition snacks.
2. Control the Shine (White Ink) You can control which parts of your bag shine. Printing directly on the film creates metallic colors, while printing over a layer of white ink creates solid, non-metallic colors. Use this to contrast shiny logos with easy-to-read text.
3. Maximum Protection Metallic films offer excellent barrier protection against light and moisture, extending shelf life. However, keep in mind that these materials are opaque, so they do not allow for clear windows to see the product inside.
Does the hang hole affect the airtight seal of the pouch?
No, the hang hole is precision-cut into the top header of the bag, located strictly above the zipper mechanism and the heat-seal line. This ensures that the storage compartment remains completely airtight and hermetically sealed, protecting your product’s freshness without compromise.
Which hang hole style is best for heavier products?
For heavier items or larger volume bags, we recommend the Euro Hole (Sombrero Style). Its unique shape distributes the weight of the package more evenly across the hanging point, reducing stress on the film and minimizing the risk of tearing compared to a standard round hole.
Are the hang holes reinforced to prevent tearing on retail shelves?
Yes. Our pouches are manufactured using high-strength, multi-layer laminated films (such as PET/AL/PE). This structural integrity ensures that the header area is durable and tear-resistant, allowing the bag to hang securely on display hooks even when handled frequently by customers.
Can I still heat seal the bag if it has a hang hole?
Absolutely. The hang hole is positioned in the extra header space at the very top of the pouch. You can apply a heat seal directly below the hang hole but above the zipper. This creates a tamper-evident closure while leaving the hang hole accessible for retail display.
Is the Round Hole compatible with all retail hooks?
The standard Round Hole is designed to fit most standard single-peg display hooks commonly found in supermarkets and convenience stores. If your retailers use double-prong hooks or wide European-style fixtures, the Euro Hole would be the compatible choice.
Does adding a hang hole reduce the filling capacity of the bag?
No, the filling capacity remains the same. The hang hole is placed in an extended top header (extra material added to the top of the bag). The internal volume available for your product starts below the zipper line, so the display feature does not encroach on your storage space.
